Day Nineteen...Something Orange.

I had a couple ideas for this day, but I had to choose the pumkins of course...it's 1 month shy of halloween afterall :)  Bonus...my blooming mums and silhouette from previous day's challenges.. LOL

Day Eighteen 9/29...Your Shoes.

The Red Sox.  They were great.  The team to beat.  Then came September and the slow and painful decline for all Boston fans.  Now as we are waiting on the dramatic changes to happen, they are still our team, and this is still my favorite summer, spring and fall footwear... my Red Sox flip flops... I've been looking for another pair since these are pretty worn, but no where to be found.

Day Seventeen 9/28...Technology.

Droid.  It goes everywhere with me.  It's my "mini" computer.  I feel lost without it!

Day Sixteen (9/27)...Long Exposure.

I had such a hard time with this.  This is my best attempt at a long exposure photo... It was much too sunny out also...

My 7 yr old is swinging on the swing next to to the baby.....

Day Fifteen...Silhouette.

Day 14...Eyes.

"Snake Eyes" that is!  From Vegas, but unfortunately I wasn't the one to go there to get these! LOL

Out of sequence...Day 12...Sunset.

There was no sun to set on the acutal "day 12" so I took this photo last night, first sign of sun in a couple of days.  Took it down the end of my street on the other side of the street to catch it!

Day Thirteen...Yourself with thirteen things.

I had a very hard time with this.

I went searching at first for 13 monopoly houses, but instead came accross a barrell full of monkeys hiding in the closet...

Poor photo, but 13 is 13 :)

Day 11...Something Blue.

This was an easy one for me.  Well easy in the sense that I knew exactly what I wanted a photo of.  But not so easy to take.  Distracting him with cherrios was easy, but getting a decent photo no so much.  Outside it is cloudy, dreary, rainy and inside we don't have very good lighting, so this was my best attempt at my blue-eyed boy <3

Isn't he cute? LOL

9/21/2011...Day Ten... Childhood Memory.

I have such great memories of my grandparents... Sal and Bea.  They were married on September 21, 1947... 64 years to the day from which this challenge photo should have been posted.  Because they were such an important part of my childhood, and the love I have for them, I chose to be married on that same day in 2001.

This Hope Chest is the one that my grandfather gave to my grandmother over 64 years ago.  I always remember it sitting in one of their bedrooms in the upstairs of there home...filled with curtains, and the smell of the cedar inside has never faded.

This Hope Chest is now mine, as my grandparents have moved on to heaven.  But I see it everyday, at the foot of my bed.  My mom had the outside restored for me, but I still see the old worn darker wood color it once was, sitting in that spare bedroom, full of curtains.

Love you and miss you everyday grammy and grampy, and Happy Anniversary!

Day Nine...Someone you love.

I love lots of people, expecially the boys in my life.

This is my 2nd, Ryan...he's goofy, funny, loves to sing and perform...and so he happily agreed to be interrupted during one of his favorite Nick shows for mom to snap a bunch of photos of him!

Day Eight...Bad Habit

This is really my husband's bad habit.  We have lived in the house for over 7 years and bought this grill that same summer we moved in...along with the grill cover.  The cover has probraby spent 5 of those years on the ground.  We never cover it. I guess it's my bad habit also since I see it there and rarely cover it either.

Day Seven... Fruit

My day seven photo got deleted, before I realized that I was posting a new "page" and not a new post on this blog... I deleted it from the new page before I realized I had deleted it from my camera, damn... the fruit I took a photo of has been eaten today. There was a photo of a pouch of baby fruits which is no longer...the baby enjoyed it though :)

Day Six...From A Low Angle.

Had a few ideas today but no time to try anything.
Taken hugging the house at the lowest point...

Day Five...From A High Angle

I started this day with high hopes.  It was VERY difficult to get a shot in focus. I took pictures from the top of two different stairways looking down on children and stuffed animals.  I took pictures standing on a livingroom chair looking down on the same children and of toys. I ended up going with one of the first shots I took...OK, may have been the 10th of the original plan, but I lost count of how many pictures I had to delete in the end.  It's a photo of the new mums I bought today, with intentions of planting, but haven't.  I took this photo from the 2nd level of the house, from the bathroom window, screen removed and myself sanding on a kid's chair.

Day Four..... Something Green

Green.  It's a favorite color of 2 of my boys, so I had ALOT of choices with this days' challenge.  But the "frog" that my 3 year old son made in preschool last month was an easy choice.  "Froggy" is a simple painted rock, probably found on the playground at preschool.  His "Lilly pad" is a piece of construction paper.  The frog rock had to come out for our errands the other day.  Of course he had to wait in the van while we shopped...we couldn't resist loosing this green froggy in which he is so proud of.

Day Three 9/14/11... Clouds

My attempt at clouds above the trees behind my house.  Lucky to have had some on a mostly sunny day today!

Day Two.. 9/13/11 .... What I wore today

Ok, I have to confess...I took this picture a day late (today).  I had all intentions to take the photos on correct day, I'll try not to let it happen again! I had worked yesterday so you could have seen my stethescope, some scrubs or some really worn work shoes, but I did not wear them today.  So I took a photo of something I've been wearing the last couple of days... because I couldn't get it off LOL.  My husband gave me a pandora bracelet for my 40th bday just last month.  I hope to fill it with symbols of all my favorite things :)  He gave it to me with a charm already on it... a bouquet of flowers and reads "love" on it... how funny because he's NOT a buyer of flowers, it's a rare, but nice occasion when he does.  Also on it is a charm of a "boy", well because I'm a mom of 4 crazy boys. My close friend gave it to me for my birthday, she was the assistant in the purchase of the bracelet!

30 Day Photography Project Day One... Self Portrait

Please don't critique my photography ability, I have none.  I know this photo is out of focus, the exposure is all wrong, etc...it was taken on auto, late at night, with a timer, after crawling out of bed after falling asleep with the baby while watching my beloved Pats win their first game of the season :) I have a desire to learn just a little bit of what my very talented photographer friends can do so magically.  So I'm going to dust off the photography books I purchased years ago and set aside time each day to attempt, once again, how to use my camera!

So here it is day 1 taken on 09/12/11.... Self Portrait
